FA Give League Pilot The Green Light

We are always trying to improve and give our young players the best footballing experience as possible. At our last committee meeting our vice chairman Mike Jackson suggested that we should apply to the FA to run a pilot which would enable girls football teams to play a year down. The reason for this is to let the girls play teams of equal ability which should give the girls more enjoyment and help them develop. As usual Kevin has done a great job with the admin for this and it has been accepted. Next season any girls team joining our league will have the option to play one year down, this will be monitored throughout the season by the league and ECFA and if the results are positive this could be rolled out by the F.A to all leagues.
